In order to develop some feedback I am going to demo the Midasmodel to many different people and elicit thoughts by return. To date I have demonstrated to three other folk; my partner in SEA Justin Mendez (no comment other than a grunt); Tim Smith a Biologist working Placencia Lagoon (comment was this is fine for proposed sharing with non scientists but scientists would need details) Julie (makes and sells chocalate bars in Toledo) was impressed since noone had ever attempted to explain details of protected area management before-liked it)

Jack Nightingale as of date 21st August 2008.
I have passed the model by two other people who would be interested. The first was Paul Walker of Wildtracks Belize. He very much liked the model and saw its utility. He stated that he would like to be included so that he might be a user. Was very interested in the landscape (as opposed to seascape) versions to be developed for Belize. His PA is Shipstern Lagoon. The other gentleman was Dr. Nicolas Watts (London University MET) and Commonwealth Human Ecology Council. He also very much liked the model since his interests are fisher folk of the Commonwealth. He saw utility for this tool in explaining variables for Protected Area Management.
